GEL Instrumentation PTY LTD passes assessment to revised ISO/IEC80079:34 standard

Congratulations to Gavin Langerak and the team at Gel Instrumentation Pty Ltd for successfully passing their Third Party re-assessment audit with SIMTARS to this standard. This standard has recently undergone a full technical revision.
Gel Instrumentation manufactures a range of geotechnical instrumentation for the mining and civil engineering industries. Their intrinsically safe range of equipment is used in gassy underground coal mines throughout Australia and overseas. They also manufacture data logging and telemetry systems.
We have been offering ongoing system support to Gavin since we developed his original and then paper-based management system in 2006.
In 2013 we transitioned his paper-based system over to our cloud based software system - Quality Systems Toolbox. This move has significantly reduced the volume of paper records required and greatly improved access and visibility of system documentation.
We continue to support Gel Instrumentation with regular system maintenance visits, internal audits, issue resolution and monitoring of changes to the standard.
